Joseph developed his passion for the ocean with his parents while sailing in Québec and France. This passion grew with many sailing classes on small boats.

Joseph's Story

The St-Lawrence river in Canada and the Baie de Bourneuf in France have been the first places for Joseph to learn to sail.

The beginning

His story in images

At 14 years old, he followed his father on a bicycle tour around the Gaspé Peninsula during 12 days (1330 km) to confirm his quality as an adventurer. The year after in 2013, he completed, with his team the Relais de la Tribut a running race from Montréal to Québec (350 km).

During this time, he met Mylene Paquette, a Canadian ocean rower who made Joseph want to row across the Atlantic Ocean.

The year after, he crossed the ocean with his family on a sail boat. From Sydney (NS) to Noirmoutier (France)

At 17 years old, he decided to complete two ocean rows. The first one was to be in team so that he would be prepared for the second row, solo. After completing the first row with his teammate in 2017 from Canada to Ireland, he is preparing to do the same route, solo.
